2026 Calendar & Events

Our annual performance calendar is filled with Chorus and Quartet Activities,
from Singing Valentines in February, a Spring Contest in March, our Annual Show,
a Fall Festival and various Christmas Performances in December.
Check back often for changes. In addition to regular rehearsals, chorus events in 2024 are as follows:

• January 3, 2026, Saturday - Annual Planning Meeting

Where: Fries Moravian Church

Time: After the CHE rehearsal, 1:30 p.m. until……

The 2026 Board is expected to attend but it is open to all members.

• January 15-17, 2026 – Midwinter International Convention

Where: Pasadena, California

What: Carolina Harmony competes on Friday, January 16 and The King’s Men compete on Saturday, January 17.

• January 22, Thursday – Real Men Sing

Where: Oak Grove High School, 3507 Midway School Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27107

Call time: 5:30 p.m.

Show time: 6:30 p.m.

• January 31, 2026, Saturday – Leadership Academy

All 2026 officers are expected to attend but it is open to all members. This year we are again doing Leadership Academy jointly with the Sunshine District so it will be great to get some new ideas from our friends down south.

Where: via Zoom

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is an all-day event this year to allow for increased class time and expended course offerings.

• February 13 and 14, 2026, Friday and Saturday – Singing Valentines

• April 11, 2026, Saturday – Evening performance in Clemmons, NC

Where:  Holy Family Catholic Church, 4820 Kinnamon Rd., 27103

• May 12, Tuesday – May Board meeting at 5 p.m.

• June 30-July 4 – International Convention in St. Louis, Missouri

• July 16-17 – Lakeside Harmony Weekend, Furman University

• August 8, Saturday – Carolina Harmony Express (CHE) rehearsal, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• September 19, Saturday - Chapter Outing at Jim and Gayle King’s house

Where:  At Gayle and Jim King’s place (525 Abby Lane, Asheboro).   

Time:    2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

• September 26, Saturday – Carolina Harmony Express (CHE) rehearsal, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• October 17, Saturday – THE Annual Show – Best of Barbershop – Two Shows – Joint with Pinehurst

First Show:

When: 1:30 p.m.

Second Show:

When: 7:00 p.m.
